Sofia is a first-year student from Ames, Iowa. She is majoring in Biology on the Pre-Med track with a minor in News and Media Literacy. Sofia is excited to begin her first semester as a student admin for the Honors Program. Some of her extracurricular activities include volunteering in the Palliative Care Unit at UIHC, reporting local health news for the Daily Iowan, and participating in a running club through the university. In her free time outside of school, Sofia enjoys dancing, going on adventures with her friends, traveling to new places, and running long distances.
