If you are a student who is interested in enriching your experience at Iowa, you should apply to join the Honors Program. Our program encourages students to meaningfully engage through courses, experiential learning, and community, often making a large campus feel smaller. Honors students also have access to additional resources and support.

We set aside sections of general education and core courses for honors students. These courses provide deeper experiences that involve engaging more closely with peers and faculty. 

Through experiential learning, students develop practical skills, and build their resumes with opportunities like internships, research, and volunteering.
