Hi everyone! My name is Montala (mon-tay-la) and I am from Chicago, Illinois. I am a 4th year studying Public Health with a minor in Criminology and a certificate in Resilience and Trauma-Informed Perspectives. I am very involved on campus, so you will see me in a variety of different roles including being a teaching assistant and peer mentor for the Honors program, president of Paws at Iowa, student ambassador for the College of Public Health, and in Army ROTC. Outside of school, I love to dance, watch football, listen to music, and take my dogs on adventures around Iowa City.  If you see me around campus, say hi!
