Earning Credit for Experiential Courses

Many research and practica courses as well as Tippie RISE experiential courses and community engaged courses (CECs) will automatically count as honors experiential learning. These will appear under Experiential Learning in your University Honors degree audit as soon as you register. Other courses may qualify; if you are taking an experiential course that does not automatically appear in your University Honors degree audit, you may email honors-program@uiowa.edu to request that it be evaluated for inclusion as experiential coursework. Note that some experiential coursework, including most 0 s.h. teaching and research registrations, earn experiential credit through completion of the honors reflection process on ICON.
