Iris graduated from the University of Iowa and is now back to pursue her Master’s in higher education and student affairs. Working as the Student Engagement Intern, she will be working to help foster a sense of community and belonging for students within the program. She is particularly excited about helping students connect with each other and with the local community. Some of her interests include supporting students’ adjustment and transition to college and student success strategies.Outside of work (and classes), you can find Iris somewhere outside. Whether that is camping and hiking in another state or enjoying a local coffee on a bench on the ped-mall. She also enjoys reading, baking, and playing French horn in the University Band.
