University of Iowa

Hello! My name is Anne Edwards, and I am a sophomore here at the University of Iowa. I was born in Dubuque, Iowa and have lived there my whole life. I am currently a Human Physiology major on the Pre-Med track with a dance minor, and I hope someday to become a doctor who works with children in some capacity.

Outside of my classes, I am a member of the Honors Program, I am a member of the WISE ambassadors group, and I volunteer at UIHC. I also work as a standardized patient in the performance based acting program at the Medical Education Research Facility. I love to read in my free time, and to take pictures. Taking pictures of the Pentacrest at sunset is one of my favorite things to do here at Iowa.

I am a member of the Gallery Team here in the BHC, which works to put student made artwork up for other students to view and enjoy. We also arrange receptions to showcase the artists.  I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunities I have been given as a member as the Honors Program, so I encourage you to be as involved as possible! If you have any questions feel free to email me or stop by the 3rd floor BHC. Thank you for reading!
