University of Iowa

To commend and recognize students who graduate from the University of Iowa with University Honors, we gather at the end of each spring semester for the Honors Commendation Ceremony. Honors staff and faculty bestow honorary regalia to recognize our students' extraordinary academic achievements.

Commendation Ceremony Group
The 2018 Honors Commendation Ceremony

will be held Friday, May 11th at 6:00 PM in the Macbride Hall auditorium.

Graduating students received emailed invitations and reminders throughout the month of April. Those students who completed an RSVP form confirming plans to attend have been sent detailed instructions about arrival, check-in, and seating. We encourage students to review this information carefully and share it with any guests who will be joining us at the ceremony.

Students who will not be attending the Commendation Ceremony have been emailed instructions about how to pick up a University Honors medallion.

Please contact with questions.
