At a major research university, the principal teachers are renowned for their contributions to learning and creativity.  Honors at Iowa shares these leading scholars, scientists, and artists with Honors Students from the start.  As we hear insistently, these interactions delight teachers and students alike!

Honors at Iowa also gives Honors Students opportunities to teach.  There is great joy in sharing knowledge, and this is a premier form of learning by doing.  It also is a terrific way to consider whether to make teaching an important part of your career.
