Honors Faculty
At Iowa, the principal teachers of Honors Classes are tenure-track faculty. At times, the Honors Program pays for their teaching on over-load. Mainly, though, their instruction comes on-load, courtesy of the undergraduate colleges and departments.
Teachers who distinguish themselves in Honors Classes may be appointed to Iowa’s Honors Faculty. Members of the Honors Faculty advise and mentor Honors Students. They also advise the Honors Program on its curricula and programs. Please use the right-hand labels for details.
