Students at the University of Iowa compete at the highest levels for prestigious national scholarships that recognize potential in a field of study, pay for graduate work, support summer internships, and the like. To apply for major national scholarships can be an intensive but ultimately rewarding process. Applicants work closely with the Honors Scholarship
Director for months to produce completed applications, which often consist of personal essays, letters of recommendation, and activity lists.
