With “Honors” as our middle name, it is no surprise that the University of Iowa Honors Program is in the merit-scholarship business. We award scholarships to acclaim excellence in Honors work at Iowa. We make Iowa nominations for major national and international awards. And we offer a unique program to prepare top students for major scholarship competitions.

The Honors Scholarship Director helps students identify relevant scholarships then coaches them on the experiences, credentials, essays, and interviews crucial for successful applications. Iowa students do well in national and international competitions. One of their keys to success is effective preparation. This carries implications for their courses and activities throughout college. The sooner potential applicants see the Scholarship Coordinator, the better.
