Honors Summer Guides
Position Description
Honors Summer Guides are honors students who assist at 2-Day Summer Orientation Sessions by encouraging entering students to take full advantage of the honors opportunities available. Honors Summer Guides will work directly with entering honors students in collaboration with the Honors Program professional staff.
Duties may include:
| • | Mandatory 6 hours of training (3 hours on 2 days in late May/early June) |
| • | Leading small group discussions with entering students about integrating honors opportunities into course schedules (Day 1) |
| • | Participating on Honors student panel (Day 1) |
| • | Staffing registration table in the IMU to answer class schedule questions and offer information about honors activities beyond the classroom (Day 2) |

June 16-17 (M-T)
June 19-20 (TH-F)
June 24-25 (T-W)
June 30-July 1(M-T)
July 7-8 (M-T)

July 17-18 (TH-F)
Hours available:
Up to 60 hours available over the course of the summer (includes 6 hours paid training)
Hourly pay rate:
$7.50-9.00 depending upon experience
