Living-Learning Communities
Admissions to the Honors House, Honors Nexus, Honors Clusters, and Topical Living-Learning Communities at Iowa include applications to University Housing, for rooms in the residence halls where the respective communities operate. Experienced Honors Students also need to apply to the Honors Program to arranger spaces reserved for returning Honors Students.
Each living-learning community has eligibility rules of its own. Beyond those, though, the earlier the application, the higher the admissions priority. Application particulars for each community are available with this site’s further information:
Iowa rules for refunding admissions deposits are highly accommodating, to minimize risks from early applications. So we encourage Honors Students to apply for living-learning arrangements at their earliest opportunities.
