Activities

Honors at Iowa is its programs.  These help carry out Iowa’s commitment to learning-by-doing, and they feature co-curricular opportunities as well as curricular constellations.  Honors sponsors lots of activities, and Honors Students are prominent in many others too.

The pop-out menu on the left divides such Activities into student organizations, campus programs, and social occasions.  Organizations include groups for engagement in community service, forensics and theater, government and politics, musical education and performance, and residential life.  Programs encompass Honors initiatives for art, culture, diversity, foreign relations, media, public affairs, and volunteering.  And occasions for socializing span athletics and recreation, dances, dinners, movies, reunions, even tailgating.
